📚 Getting Started

Setting Up Your First Profile (Quick Start)

⚡ Quick Profile Setup

Get a working profile published FAST. You can always come back and perfect it later - published beats perfect!

🎯 The Absolute Essentials

MUST HAVE (non-negotiable):

1. Username

Your unique @handle - this creates your public URL

raverep.com/@yourname

2. Profile Photo

Professional headshot - first thing visitors see

3. Short Bio

2-3 lines explaining who you are and what you do

⏱️ Quick Setup Checklist

Follow this exact sequence:

First: Go to Your page → You

  • Set your @username (try a few if taken)
  • Upload profile photo
  • Write 2-line bio

Next: Stay in You

  • Add your email (or mark private if you don't want it public)
  • Add 2-3 social links (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Click Save

Then: Go to Sections and open Links

  • Add 3 quick links (your top 3 most important)
  • Click Save

Done! ✨ Your profile is live at raverep.com/@yourname

🎨 Optional: Pick a Theme

Want to customize appearance?

  1. Open Your page
  2. Go to Look
  3. Pick a theme (there are 20 looks to choose from)
  4. Save - done!

Your profile now matches your brand colors.

📈 What to Add Next (When You Have Time)

  • ✅ Add 3-5 more links
  • ✅ Create 1 goal

Level 3:

Goal: 10 profile views in your first 24 hours

❓ Common First-Time Questions

"Can I change my username later?"

Yes! Go to Settings → My page and link, choose Change it, and save. Old links redirect automatically for 90 days.

"Do I need to fill out everything?"

No! Username, photo, and bio are the bare minimum. Everything else is optional and can be added over time.

"What if I don't have a logo?"

Logo is optional! Most people just use their profile photo. Logos are more for businesses/brands.

"Should I make everything public?"

Up to you! Email and phone have privacy toggles. Most people keep email public and phone private.

🎯 Success Checklist

You'll know your profile is ready when:

✓ Public URL works (raverep.com/@yourname)
✓ Profile photo shows up
✓ Bio displays on public page
✓ At least 3 links are clickable
✓ Looks good on mobile (test it!)

🎉 Congratulations!

You now have a live, professional profile. Share it everywhere and start collecting those raves! Remember: you can always refine it later - getting it out there is what matters.

Network Coach — Complete Guide for Reps

Network Coach

Network Coach is your AI-powered names list builder and prospect tracker. It replaces the notepad. It replaces the spreadsheet. It knows your network and helps you figure out exactly who to ask for and what to say.

The Three Core Sections

  1. Brainstorm — AI-guided session to build your names list from scratch
  2. My Network — your master list of connectors and prospects with tracking
  3. Templates — proven scripts for every situation

1. Start with the Brainstorm

The Brainstorm walks you through 16 categories — Family, Close Friends, Acquaintances, Past Jobs, Sports Teams, Church/Religious, Social Media Connections, Neighbors, Classmates, and more.

For each category, you name people you know. At the end, classify them:

  • Connector: Someone you reach out to directly for their info or a presentation
  • Prospect: Someone introduced through another person

They're automatically added to My Network when you confirm.

2. My Network

Your master list of every connector and prospect. Track status for each person:

  • Need Number — you still need their contact info
  • Reached Out — you've contacted them
  • Got Number — you have their number, they're in your pipeline

Add people quickly: click Add Connector or Add Prospect — the form stays open for rapid-fire entry. Or use Import Names to paste a bulk list.

My Numbers List

Click My Numbers List (in the sidebar or top of Network page) for a clean, printable view of everyone you still need a number for. Pull this up at a presentation or meeting to ask for referrals efficiently.

3. Templates

Four categories of scripts:

  • Get Number — scripts for asking someone for a friend's/family member's number
  • Reach Out — first outreach scripts to set up presentations
  • Follow Up — follow-up messages when they haven't responded
  • In Person — scripts to use face-to-face at appointments or presentations

Fill the variable bar at the top (Rep Name, Customer Name, Product, etc.) and ALL templates update in real-time. Click Copy and paste directly into your text or email app.

4. AI Coach

Ask the AI Coach anything in natural language:

  • "What should I text Jake to get his mom's number?"
  • "Give me a script for following up with someone who went quiet"
  • "How many people do I need in my network to hit my goal?"

The AI knows your templates, your network size, and any coaching notes your manager has added.

Pro Tips

  • Do the full Brainstorm before your first presentation — it's worth 30 minutes
  • Aim for 100+ names in My Network before you're a week in
  • Use the Numbers List at every appointment — ask: "Who's the best person you know who could use this?"
  • Update statuses as you go to keep your data clean
  • The AI Coach is surprisingly good at crafting personalized messages — use it before texting anyone new

Creating Your First Booking Type

📚 Raves & Testimonials

Raves (Testimonials) — Complete Guide

Raves — Your Social Proof Engine

Raves are customer testimonials that show up on your public profile and can be shared on social media. They're the most powerful trust-building tool in your profile.

Collecting Raves

Three ways to get a rave:

  1. Send your rave link — Go to Reputation → Copy ask link → text or email to customer. They fill out a quick form. You approve it before it goes live.
  2. Add manually — Reputation → Bring in reviews → write what they said, add their name, photo, company, and relationship. Approve it yourself.
  3. Team seed raves — Your manager may push company raves to your profile automatically.

Text vs. Video Raves

  • Text raves: Available on all plans. Customer writes their testimonial in a form.
  • Video raves: Pro plan. Customer records directly in their browser — no app download needed. 30-90 seconds is ideal. Far more powerful than text.

Managing Your Raves

Go to Reputation:

  • Approve — New raves are pending until you approve them
  • Feature — Pinned raves appear first on your profile
  • Share — 1-click share to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or copy link
  • Hide — Remove from public view without deleting
  • Delete — Permanently remove

Featuring Raves

Click a rave → Feature. Featured raves appear at the top of your raves section. Feature your best 3-5 raves — the ones that mention specific outcomes or results.

Spotlight Badges

When your manager spotlights one of your raves (Manager Dashboard → Rave Spotlight), you earn a Spotlight Badge on your profile. Higher spotlight tier = more credibility signal.

Sharing Raves on Social Media

Reputation → click a rave → Share → choose platform. RaveRep generates a branded card image. Post it with a short caption on Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok.

Example caption: "Hearing this from a customer makes it all worth it 🙏 — see my full profile: raverep.link/yourname"

Rave Invitations

Send a formal rave request via email directly from RaveRep: Reputation → Ask for a rave → enter customer email → send. They get a personalized link.

Pro Tips

  • Ask immediately after a great experience — while they're excited
  • Say: "Would you be willing to leave a quick testimonial? Here's the link"
  • Video raves are 3-5x more powerful than text. Ask for video when possible.
  • Feature raves that mention specific outcomes: "I was skeptical but..." or "I've been a customer for 3 years..."
  • Aim for 1-2 new raves per month to keep your profile fresh
  • Share one rave on social media per week — free marketing from real customer voices

Collecting More Raves

When to Ask for Raves

  • Immediately after closing a deal
  • After a successful project delivery
  • When a client expresses satisfaction
  • After solving a problem or exceeding expectations

How to Request Raves

  1. Use the 'Invite to Rave' feature to send a personalized request
  2. Or share your rave link in email, text, or in person
  3. Make it easy - the link takes them directly to the rave form

Best Practices

  • Be Genuine: Ask for honest feedback, not fake endorsements
  • Time It Right: Ask when satisfaction is highest
  • Make It Easy: Offer a quick video or text (1-2 sentences)
  • Be Grateful: Thank people for taking time to leave a rave
  • Follow Up: Remind satisfied clients a few weeks after engagement

Video Rave Tips

  • Keep it short (30-90 seconds)
  • Focus on results and impact
  • Speak naturally, not scripted
  • Good lighting and clear audio matter
  • Mobile phones work perfectly

🎯 Goal Examples by Profession

💼 Sales Professional

"Close $150K in Q1" | "Sign 25 new clients" | "Achieve 120% of quota"

🎨 Freelancer

"Complete 10 client projects" | "Build $5K MRR" | "Launch new service offering"

🏋️ Coach/Consultant

"Help 50 clients achieve results" | "Publish 12 case studies" | "Host 4 workshops"

🏡 Real Estate

"Sell 24 homes this year" | "$5M in transaction volume" | "Win Rookie of the Year"

🔥 Pro Strategies

Make goals work for you:

  1. Start with 1-2 goals - Don't overwhelm visitors with 10 goals
  2. Mix professional & personal - "Hit quota" + "Run first 5K" = relatable
  3. Update progress weekly - Shows you're active and making moves
  4. Share goal updates - Post on social when you hit milestones
  5. Feature your biggest goal - Put it at the top of your profile
  6. Use specific numbers - "$100K" better than "Make more money"
  7. Time-bound goals - "This quarter" creates urgency
