Questions, answered

Is this PDF filler really free?

Yes, and the download is too. Most online PDF editors let you fill in the whole document and then charge you to get it back; this one never does that. You can open, fill, sign, and download without an account and without paying. Anonymous downloads carry a small RaveRep line in the footer; your signature is remembered in this browser, and on every device you sign in on if you have a free account, which also adds clean downloads and a Library to save finished files for reuse.

Does my PDF get uploaded to a server?

No. Your file is opened and rendered entirely in your browser, on your own device, it is never sent to a server, and we never see its contents. That matters for exactly the documents people fill most: tax forms, contracts, applications, and medical paperwork. If a PDF tool asks you to upload first, your document is sitting on someone else's computer. Here, it never leaves yours.

Can I sign a PDF with this?

Yes. Draw or type your signature once, then click to place it anywhere on the document, same for initials, dates, checkmarks, and text. Every placed mark can be dragged, resized, and recolored before you download. One honest note: this places an image of your signature on the page, which is how most everyday paperwork gets signed; it isn't a certified e-signature with a cryptographic audit trail.

What if my PDF has no fillable form fields?

That's common, scanned documents and many older PDFs are just flat images. The editor detects real form fields automatically when they exist, and when they don't, the stamp tools take over: click anywhere to add text, today's date, a checkmark, an X, or your signature, exactly where the paper version would want them. Then download the finished file as a normal PDF.
