Yes. You can build a QR code, customize the color, and download it without paying anything and without creating an account, there's no trial that expires and no paywall between you and the file. The one difference: anonymous downloads include a small RaveRep caption strip beneath the code. Create a free account and your codes download clean, with no caption. Signing in also lets you save codes and re-download them later.
No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser, on your own device. The link, Wi-Fi password, phone number, or contact details you type are never sent anywhere, there's no upload, no server-side render, and nothing for us to store or see. Most online QR generators route your data through their servers; this one structurally can't, because the code is drawn locally.
No. This tool makes static QR codes: your destination is encoded directly into the pattern itself. The code keeps working for as long as the thing it points to (your website, phone number, or Wi-Fi network) exists. There's no subscription keeping it alive, no scan limit, and no redirect service that could shut down and break your printed materials.
Yes. Choose the Social type, paste the group, page or profile link in any form (a handle, a mobile link, a share link) and the tool rewrites it to the one address the app recognises, so a phone with the app installed opens it there instead of in a browser. A private Facebook group opens on its Join button. Turn on the smart link and the code goes through raverep.link first, which adds two things: a tap-to-open page for people scanning from inside another app, where direct links stay stuck in a web view, and a destination you can change later without reprinting.
For most print jobs, download the SVG, it's a vector, so it stays perfectly sharp at any size, from a business card to a banner. If your printer or design tool prefers raster images, the 2048px PNG is comfortably print quality for posters and signage. One note: the center logo is composited into PNG exports only; SVG downloads come out without it.
